At Destinations Holidays, we prioritize transparency, fairness, and customer satisfaction. This Refund & Return Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds are applicable and the process for claiming them. Please read carefully before booking.
- General Refund Terms
- All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email or through our official communication channels.
- Refund eligibility depends on the nature of the service booked (flights, hotels, tour packages, add-ons).
- Refunds, once approved, will be processed to the original method of payment only.
- Our service charges and any non-refundable vendor costs (airlines, hotels, third-party operators) will be deducted.
- Tour Packages
- 30+ days before departure → Eligible for a full refund, minus service fees & non-refundable deposits.
- 15–29 days before departure → 50% refund of total package value.
- 7–14 days before departure → 25% refund of total package value.
- Less than 7 days before departure → No refund.
- Flights
- Refunds follow the airline’s cancellation policy.
- Destinations Holidays’ processing/service fee is non-refundable.
- Hotels & Accommodations
- Refunds depend on the hotel’s individual cancellation/refund policy.
- Some special rates, promotions, or last-minute bookings may be strictly non-refundable.
- Add-On Services (Visa, Insurance, Transfers)
- Visa fees, travel insurance, and government taxes are non-refundable under all circumstances.
- Airport transfers, excursions, and activities follow individual vendor refund rules.
- Return Policy (for Travel Services)
Since we provide intangible travel services (not physical products), “returns” mean rescheduling or modifying bookings:
- Rescheduling: Allowed, subject to availability and vendor approval. Additional charges may apply.
- Credit Vouchers: In certain cases, instead of a refund, a travel credit may be issued for future bookings.
- No-Show & Last-Minute Changes
- Failure to show up for a flight, hotel check-in, or tour without prior notice will be treated as a No-Show → No refund will be issued.
- Any last-minute changes are subject to service provider rules and may attract additional charges.
- Refund Processing Time
- Refunds are typically processed within 10–15 working days after approval.
- International refunds may take longer due to banking and currency exchange procedures.
- Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds will not be provided in cases such as:
- Visa rejection after booking.
- Cancellations due to government restrictions, strikes, natural disasters, or pandemics (force majeure).
Special discounted offers, early-bird deals, and flash sales.
